Licence Protector MAC Edition provides the following functionality:
| • | Evaluation version - create a demo / evaluation version which is limited by number of days |
| • | Activate a product online using a Serial Number Key |
| • | Copy Protection - the product is linked to the System ID (Serial Number) of the MAC computer or to a USB flash drive |
| • | License multiple modules / features of a product |
| • | Regular online check to lock or revoke a license |
| • | Single user installation |
The API commands are very similar or identical to the Licence Protector Windows API commands. The project setup on the Activation Server is identical. This makes it easy to create cross platform applications with the same licensing.
The Activation Server 4 version 4.2 is required as the licensing needs a mandatory online activation. Only if USB flash delivery is used, an online connection is not required.
