This feature prevents, that the Multimedia Player can be started on multiple machines - it does not prevent the copy process itself.
The license is bound to a specific hardware ID (e.g. MAC address). The Multimedia Player will start only if the license file is on the specified hardware. This works in a single user environment as well as in a network environment.
The following hardware IDs are supported:
| • | Volume ID |
| • | MAC Address of the network adapter |
| • | Hostname |
| • | Volume ID and UNC Pathname |
| • | MAC Address and UNC Pathname |
