The activation action is invoking the Automatic Licence Generator . This is the universal batch processing tool to generate a licence file or key. It can be obtained as a separate module to produce key lists or for integration in Online Shops. In the combination with the Web Activation Server it can only be used with the server and not as a standalone tool. The standalone tool requires a licence for the Automatic Licence Generator .

 

The Automatic Licence Generator processes the configuration.xml file defined for the project (ProjectID)  and looks for the definitions defined for the module ID. Then the project template file is processed.

 

In combination with the Web Activation Server the Automatic Licence Generator only produces Activation Keys. These keys can be retrieved  within the View and Modify Tab,  Modify a Web Service Request.
